Alot of cars have plastic manifolds nowadays and I know firsthand that 25 psi will not blow those bastards. But really you cant argue with perfect shape, heat transfer and weight...just cant port it too well.

true. all of our bmws run plastic intake manifolds. even our X5 M running 20+ psi uses plastic.

but never the less. someone will want a sheet metal manifold made.

Agreed. What I dont understand though are cars with plastic valve covers... like my friends mazda 3. And yet the MS3, and MS6 have the same engine essentially (DISI though) and they get a metal one...
