I just took out the junk b15b6 and dropped in a fresh d16z6. The difference that it makes is so unbelievable. As far as the vtec I have a R spec controller to set the switch point. Feels Good. Just wanted to vent in a good way. Cheers!

its always nice when a motorswap comes out on the positive side... i've been at a few swap parties where the results were more negative. example would be tomato racing's beater. swapped out the d15b7 for another b7 and when he started the motor, the head lifted (3 stripped head bolts).

congrats on a sucessful swap!

I'll second that. I was running the a6 and putting 290whp and 250tq @ 18psi. I put the z6 head on and was making 273whp and 240 tq @ 13 psi on the exact same setup (plus the turbo was coming in a tad bit sooner). I stopped at 13 psi cause the seal in the turbo gave out on the dyno so now I'm waiting for parts then it's back to the dyno. 20 psi here I come! Overall I'm very satisfied with the z6.

Just for the hell of it I thought I'd throw my numbers in here. With the a6 head I was making 290 at 18psi, now with the z6 head 337 at 18psi. I'll be looking for your boost results when the time comes good luck.
